Bolsover Presentations

In 1992 on the 200th anniversary of Peter Fidler's historic journey into southern Alberta a copy of our Explorers of the West sketchbook on the explorer was presented to nine year old Danny Peter Fidler in Bolsover.

At the same time Bolsover Town Mayor Thomas Rodda presented a framed picture of Bolsover landmarks for Albertans. In turn Mayor Rodda received a citation from members of the Alberta Legislative Assembly.

Standing in the rear are Mary and Norman Fidler whose family are direct descendents of Peter Fidler's brother James whose family stayed in England.
