On return from Bolsover...
..."Fidler" presented the framed picture of Bolsover landmarks to Mayor David Carpenter of the City of Lethbridge.
Lethbridge is a hub of the agriculture area and it was Fidler who first described the agricultural potential of the southern Alberta:
All the land in this country is a fine light sandy kind of soil
&
if cultivated would produce excellent crops of all kinds of grain.
