Health and Safety Advisory Committee

As mandated by Alberta Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Act, the University of Lethbridge Health & Safety Advisory Committee (HSAC) is an advisory body with a focus on identifying health and safety concerns in the workplace and promoting health and safety best practices at the University.

Reporting to the President’s Executive Council, via the Vice-President (Finance & Administration), the Committee will draw membership from employer and employee representatives to work collaboratively and proactively to identify solutions for Health & Safety workplace concerns. The HSAC will promote awareness and interest in health and safety in the workplace, and provide a forum to discuss emerging trends that could affect the health and safety of the University community.
