Associated Medical Services Incorporated (AMS) has a long and impressive history of supporting scholarly activity, fellowships and grants which have enhanced to training and delivery of healthcare in Canada. In 2018, the AMS Board approved “Compassionate Care in a Technological World” as a strategic priority focussed on promoting the integration of digital technology and compassionate care in the delivery of health care services, education of health professionals as well as facilitating the leadership needed to realize the promise of technology.
To support this priority, AMS Healthcare is launching new fellowship funding program (10 awards of up to $75,000 in funding) and a small grant program (up to $20,000 of funding) to develop leadership in digital technology and compassionate care.
Full information about the fellowship and small grant (including deadlines) can be found here: https://ossu.ca/resources/ams-healthcare/ams-fellowships/

Note, one FAQ answer about whether applicants need to live in Ontario: AMS is obliged to focus their funding primarily in Ontario. However, AMS is interested in funding the best scholars in this program, so would encourage you to apply regardless where in the country you reside. There is a requirement that applicants have either Canadian citizenship or landed immigrant status. Our goal is to create scholars who lead in this area in Canada.
