2022 Bridge Prize
Celebrating short story fiction writing at the post-secondary level in Canada
The Bridge Prize is presented by the School of Liberal Education at the University of Lethbridge. The Bridge Prize is a biennial short story writing competition that awards over $10,000 in prizes to the winner and three finalists.

The Bridge Prize will announce the names of the authors whose stories have been advanced to the Main Jury in mid-August. Each author will be contacted by the Bridge Prize Administrators. The winning author and three finalists will be announced on September 20, 2022.
The Bridge Prize is only open to undergraduate and graduate students attending post-secondary institutions in Canada. Entrants must be a registered student in a Canadian college or university at the entry deadline of January 24, 2022.

Top prize: $7,500
Three additional finalists: $1000
Each winning author will also receive a $200 gift card courtesy of Munro’s Books.
