When I first visited Head-Smashed-In in the early 1960s it was like hundreds of other cliffs in the Porcupine Hills.
Today, with a multi-million dollar interpretive centre built into the cliff and UNESCO Heritage Site designation it is considered the biggest, oldest and best-preserved buffalo jump in North America.
