We found an unpretentious little shop with a wide assortment of crafts - many of which would illegal for us to bring home.
Included in the shop were scrimshaw, whalebone and soapstone carvings, walrus and narwhal ivory along with sealskin clothing and dolls.

The 55,000 people that make up Greenland are predominantly Inuit. Although fishing makes up 95% of their exports, the seal and whale catch is still of great importance.
