Harry Pohl was a German POW (Prisoner of War) in Canada from 1940 to 1946.  Later he returned to southern Alberta to live.   I interviewed him in the early 1980s.

D.M. Ormond was an a lawyer in Pincher Creek in 1910.  He gave up his practice to take on other adventures.
