Live, work and study in Budapest, Hungary!

If you're looking for a life-altering adventure that will give you international work experience, allow you to continue your studies in an immersive way, and let you to put into practice the theories you've been learning throughout your business degree, this is it. During this six-week program you will experience Hungarian culture by working for either a Hungarian or multinational company, as well as complete academic assignments. You will receive course credit for MGT 4640 and ECON 3850 after completing the program.

Cost
The estimated cost of the trip for students is $2,850 + cost of tuition for MGT 4640 and ECON 3850.
The program fee covers accommodation, securing work placement, gift to employer, one group cultural weekend tour, commuting costs and weekly seminars. The fee does not include airfare and meals. You are also responsible for the cost of travel health insurance. (Canadian citizens qualify for travel bursary/scholarship.)
Practicum
Work placements are usually based on research project. Examples of past student-directed projects include:
- create business plan for agricultural companies;
- financial analysis for diversified companies;
- research and benchmarking re 21st century retails banking
- create brand recognition and professional awareness youtube videos
- promote CETA (Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement between Canada and the EU)
- find and analyze major competitors for Hungarian company in the Swiss market
Accommodations
In a Residence Center: in single rooms with a bathroom. WiFi, Swimming Pool, Fitness room, Basketball court, Tennis court, 24 hrs reception desk, kitchen lounge on each floor, laundry, cafeteria & weekly cleaning included. Building located 20 minutes from the city centre.
On-site restaurant offers breakfast from $3, lunch and dinner menu from $5.

Fill out the application form before Jan 31 and pay the $200 deposit to the Lethbridge campus Cash Office or at the Calgary campus University of Lethbridge office. The application fee is only refundable if you are not selected to participate in the program.
