The Department of Biological Sciences will be offering Biology 3850A (Field Botany & Ecology) during Summer Session I, which runs May 7 - June 18, 2018.
Course Description: Summer Session I (3-3-0). Field Botany and Ecology
Lectures, laboratory, and field exercises provide an introduction to the identification, classification, distribution and ecology of local vascular plants. The course will run Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6pm-9pm. Four mandatory field trips comprise the laboratory component of the course and will take place on Saturdays from 9am to 9pm. As this is a field course, students should be prepared for moderately strenuous exercise in a variety of weather conditions.
Prerequisites: Biology 1020 and Biology 2200
