WEEK 2: Beat out the Competition

Have you ever thought you can never compete with the Fortune 500s?

Participants will learn why paying attention to all types of competitors can save your business. You will learn about your true competition and how to beat them.

By the end of the session, you will:

  • Uncover your true competition and what you need to do to shine above the rest
  • Create your fourth slide for your pitch deck: The Competitor Analysis Slide

    WEEK 3: Beat Out the Competition

    Have you wondered how to make sure no one can copy your idea?

    Participants will learn about the importance of creating a unique value in your business. You will learn how to make sure copycats are not able to steal your customers from you.

    By the end of the session, you will:

    • Discover how to deliver unique value to your customers
    • Create your third slide for your pitch deck: The Value Slide

    WEEK 4: Make Money in Your New Business

    Have you thought you need to price your product or service low to compete?

    Participants will learn how to create a financial projection. You will learn how much it will cost you to start your business and how you’ll make money in the first year.

    By the end of the session, you will:

    • Create a pricing model and one-year financial projection

    WEEK 5: Build Your New Business Idea

    Are you confused about how to start your business?

    Participants will learn about prototyping and iterating business ideas. You will learn about minimal viable products and creating a roll out plan.

    By the end of the session, you will:

    • Create a prototype of your idea for testing with customers
    • Create your sixth slide for your pitch deck: The 30-60-90 Day Plan Slide

    WEEK 6: Pitching Your New Idea for Results

    Are you afraid of presenting your business idea?

    Participants will learn how to build a story that resonates with an expert audience. You will learn tricks of the trade when it comes to persuading judges into giving you funding for your business.

    By the end of the session, you will:

    • Become more confident in talking about your business idea
    • Create your final two slides for your pitch deck: The Team Slide & The Ask Slide
