Residence Council

The Organization of Residence Students (ORS) is the residence council at uLethbridge. It is also a ratified club with the University of Lethbridge Students’ Union (ULSU).

Under the direction of Housing Services, the ORS Council is responsible for fostering and developing an inclusive community through events, activities, educational opportunities, and everyday interactions. They also maintain the conduct of the community as first responders who uphold the community standards, regulations, and procedures as outlined in the Residence Community Handbook.

ORS is primarily funded by the $50.00 ORS fee each resident pays per term.

Member of the General Assembly

In addition to ORS being a ratified club, it is also a voting member of the ULSU’s General Assembly. The General Assembly consists exclusively of elected student officials, chaired by an external individual. In addition to ORS, the General Assembly is comprised of representatives from each University faculty, Board of Governors, Calgary and Edmonton campuses, and other key uLethbridge demographics.
