Annual Department of Art Open House

Monday, April 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., 8th floor art studios, University Centre for the Arts

Students in advanced and senior studio courses will exhibit their work from the past school year. Students in these courses work individually with instructors, choosing a theme and media. The works on display include sculpture, painting, drawing, installation, digital media and photography.

New Board and Video Game Night

Monday, April 10, 6 to 8:30 p.m., PE264

New media students studying game design and video game production are presenting their new board and video game projects. Students in the game design class collaborated with biochemistry students to create two board games with a biochemistry focus. Students in the video game production class will present three, team-built, original video games.

Stress Relief Therapy

Tuesday, April 11, and Wednesday, April 12, 6 to 7 p.m., L1008A & B, Library

As students prepare for final exams, the U of L Library is offering some soft and furry stress relief. Therapy dogs, courtesy of the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program, will be on site. The Library is also offering a Stress-Free Zone (L1114) until April 21 where students can take a break, grab a snack, play a game or watch a movie.
