WHAT: AGILITY Fall Innovation Speaker Series to feature Heather Shaw, Paul and Kat Storwick and Tom Stepper discussing innovation and succession in family businesses

WHEN: Tuesday, October 25, 2016, 4 to 7 p.m.

WHERE: University of Lethbridge Calgary campus at Bow Valley College, room N124

Everyone from students to alumni to members of the business community are invited to attend this free AGILITY Fall Innovation Speaker series event. Join Heather Shaw of the Shaw media family and current Executive Chair of Corus Communications (CJR.B), Paul Storwick, COO of GreatWest Kenworth, Kat Storwick, project manager and a fourth generation member of the GreatWest Kenworth business, and Tom Stepper, general counsel for Gas Plus Inc. as they discuss Innovation and Responding to Change in Multigenerational Businesses.

This free program features a panel discussion, followed by a Q & A session and networking and refreshments. The event will be moderated by successful start-up entrepreneur Steve Cloutier, CEO of Skyridge Capital Corporation.

AGILITY is an experiential learning program in innovation and entrepreneurial thinking that bridges all disciplines and is open to students in all majors on both of the University’s Lethbridge and Calgary campuses. Its goal is to equip students with the skills of resilience, responsiveness and adaptability to allow them to respond to opportunities and create solutions that add value to enterprises and vitalize society.
